Haribo is a german confectioner with its place of business in bonn. It was established in 1920 by Hans Riegel. The name is deduced from his name and the place of business ( Hans Riegel Bonn).

The carpenter Kaspar Faber (1730-1784). First he only worked for other firms, then he started making pens at his own charge. He became really popular and got to work independent. Now his company has a worldwide reputation. In 1978 Anton Wolfgang Graf of Faber-Castell is at the top management and begins, in the same year, with the production of wooden-calm pencils for the decorative cosmetics (Private label). In the following two decades a row of new foreign establishments and foreign works is founded, including the biggest rubber factory in ther whole world (Malaysia, 1980)
